Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd. (REC)  is a Mini Ratna  Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, having its Registered Office at New Delhi.  REC is one of the leading public financial institutions/NBFCs in the country, financing rural electrification schemes, power generation, transmission and distribution projects in both public and private sector.  The Company has 17 Project Offices in different states across the country to generate and coordinate business activities, service its clients and oversee the progress of projects financed. 

 

REC has established an excellent record over the years for its consistent performance, profitability and growth. The sanctions during 2004-05 crossed Rs. 16000 crores while the disbursements stood at Rs. 7885 crores. Good knowledge of working in a computerized atmosphere is essential for all the above referred positions.

Relaxations in age, qualification & experience, etc in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen will be as per Govt. Guidelines.  The cut off date for age and experience calculation shall  be as on the last date for submission of applications given below. 

 

In addition to the Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) pay scales (*Provisional) indicated above, other allowances/perks such as HRA/leased residential accommodation, conveyance reimbursement, medical reimbursement, LTC, CPF, Gratuity, Leave encashment, Conveyance/House Building Advance, performance incentive, etc. are admissible as per Rules of the Company.

The incumbents are liable to be transferred/ posted anywhere in India at the discretion of the company.  The selected candidate/s should be able to join the company at the earliest.
